JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. -- At this bull rider of ski resorts, the
ultimate fashion statement has always been a faded Gore-Tex parka
patched with duct tape -- an honor badge earned while barreling down
some of the steepest, meanest slopes in the world.
You'll still find ripped jackets and Guns N' Roses tunes in the
Jackson Hole aerial tram, where overachieving powder hounds start
lining up three hours before the first spine-tingling, 4,139-foot
ascent at 9 a.m. This winter, however, the jeans-and-fleece crowd is
getting some fashion competition from folks like 22-year-old
