Steve Edginton was spot on the head pin in the Newton Abbot and
District Skittles League Plate Competition.
Results
He came up with 74 (6, 16, 14, 15, 6, 17) for Division 3 team
Turkeys in their 1st round match at the Keyberry Hotel.
It is the best return in the front pin competition so far, but it
was all to no avail as Prospectors from Division 1 won this 1st
round match 276-223, Paul Stephens scoring 50 for the winners. While
they have been struggling in the league, Prospectors are still in
all three cup competitions.
The only other side that can boast that are Force 8. They
recorded the highest team score in the plate so far, beating King
Pins 395-296 at …
