Glendale, Ariz. -- Eli Manning, the ugly duckling of pro
football's first family, is ugly no more.
Last year, older brother Peyton led the Indianapolis Colts to
victory over the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI. On Sunday night,
27-year-old Eli passed the ultimate National Football League litmus
test by passing the New York Giants by the New England Patriots, 17-
14, in a king-size Super Bowl shocker.
The younger Manning marshaled the Giants 83 yards in 12 plays and
delivered the winning touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress in the final
minute.
