Interview: Chinese Lion Dance introduced to Bangladesh

DHAKA, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese traditional Lion Dance was introduced to Bangladesh for the first time recently and warmly welcomed by local watchers.

Liu Sanzhen, cultural counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, is the first person to introduce the performance to Bangladesh. In an interview with Xinhua Sunday, Liu said he started the plan to introduce the Lion Dance to the South Asian country as early as he took office two years ago.
