On Sunday, Feb. 10, Democrats across Maine will hold caucuses to
vote their preference for the Democratic presidential nominee.
Taking a cue from the Democratic National Committee's "50 State
Strategy," the Hancock County Democratic Committee has adopted a "38
Town Strategy," organizing caucuses for each of the 38
municipalities in Hancock County. See below for local caucus
locations and start times.
Delegates for each candidate are awarded in proportion to the
number of supporters. The delegates are pledged to support their
chosen candidate through the first round of voting at the Maine
Democratic Convention, to be held May 30-June 1, at the Augusta
Civic Center.
