VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 5, 2008) - Riverside Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RRI) has optioned the El Capitan property, a hot spring type gold property in Durango, Mexico near recent discoveries at San Augustin (Geologix) and Camino Rojo (Canplats) in the same Durango-Zacatecas metalliferous belt. The project is located in the Penoles district, where Compania Minera Penoles got its start over 100 years ago. The project has previous drilling that intersected gold mineralization and has undrilled surface extents of gold-bearing surface samples extending more than a kilometer.
