The four young musicians in Vampire Weekend, the indie-rock buzz band du jour, ambled onto the Remis Auditorium stage Saturday to the cheers and whoops of a packed crowd. Thanks to online tracks and serious hype, the four recent Columbia University grads are already outfitted with screaming fans, not two weeks after the release of their first album. The sad truth is that by the Internet timeline, Vampire Weekend should be nearly ready for the virtual remainders
