The Pittsburgh Public Theater will celebrate American playwrights
with a 2008-09 season that begins and ends with the works of
Pittsburgh playwrights.
Its 34th season will begin with August Wilson's final play,
"Radio Golf," Oct. 2 to Nov. 2. With the staging of "Radio Golf,"
the Public will become one of three theaters in the world to have

entrepreneur makes a historic bid to become mayor, "Radio Golf's"
timeliness and resonance is likely to become intensified as the
presidential race moves toward Election Day.
