MUSIC REVIEW
The Spice Girls certainly work hard for their money, to steal a
line from that old Donna Summer song.
Last night's 105-minute concert at the TD BankNorth Garden
crammed 21 songs into a fast-paced show that included a 10-man dance
troupe, huge multi-level stage and special effects galore.
Musically, the Spice Girls, reunited for this world tour that was
kicking off its American portion in Boston, covered just about all
of their new "Greatest Hits" CD, but they also packed in a few
surprises, especially some 1970s-'80s disco and funk nuggets.
The evening was an unending dance party, and the mostly teenage,
mostly female, crowd seemed to love every minute. The sellout
