The simple love of an authentic Cornish pasty is about to unite
people across the world in a bid to preserve its uniqueness.
Social networking website Facebook is the latest recruit in a
campaign to have the Cornish pasty recognised and protected by the
EU.
The Cornish Pasty Association (CPA) is battling to stop consumers
being misled by pasty makers who trade off the value of the name
without making a genuine product.
Now it is calling on everyone who enjoys tucking into a pasty and
surfing the Internet to sign up to its Facebook group and show their
support.
