Town officials will keep an eye on the Boat House Pub for the
next three months to make sure managers aren't running an illegal
nightclub.
Deputy Fire Chief Jack Beagle told selectmen on Monday that the
pub, on Dyke Street, has a dance floor, a raised area for a band and
irregularly spaced seating that may violate its license.

license that allows live music, he said. Selectman Michael Maresco
said Marshfield has not issued licenses for nightclubs in many
years.

five to six tables," Beagle wrote in a Jan. 8 violation notice that
was issued to the pub. ...
