Kind wants super delegates scrapped

WASHINGTON - Rep. Ron Kind called on the Democratic Party to scrap its super delegate system Wednesday, while announcing he'll cast his super delegate vote for whichever presidential candidate wins his congressional district in next week's primary.

"The super delegate system smacks the average person as elitist and antidemocratic, and I don't think it belongs in our elective process," Kind said. "No person's votes should count more than anyone else's."

"I'm going to keep faith with the voters of my congressional district, and support their choice for the presidential nominee,"
