WOOSTER -- Following a decision to table a zoning variance
request Thursday night, the relocation of one Wooster business has
been put on hold.
Goodwill Industries' retail store, located in the Portage Square
Plaza, came before the board of zoning appeals asking for a variance
regarding the required number of parking spaces at a 6,000-square-
foot space on Milltown Road that formerly housed Sylvan Learning
Center.
The facility has enough spaces to meet zoning requirements, but a
proposed 8,000-square-foot addition would require an additional 22
parking spaces.
The board opted to table the matter citing Goodwill had not
