CityBusiness recognizes business newsmakers in a big way.
The CityBusiness Women of the Year award luncheon went big time
under Publisher Mark Singletary, who rightly felt distaff movers and
shakers were due more recognition after he took over the newspaper
in 1999. The event has drawn nearly 1,000 attendees each of the last
two years.
Today it is the premier event among a number of CityBusiness
awards luncheons, including the creative Innovator of the Year, the
touching Health Care Heroes and the highly competitive Leadership in
Law and Best Places to Work competitions.
This year a new spotlight will splash artisans in a bedrock
economic sector when the first class of Culinary Connoisseurs ...
