Swansea is booming, according to the city council's leader.
Councillor Chris Holley believes that the city is enjoying its
most prosperous period since the rebuilding drive following the
Second World War.
Last month, Swansea Council revealed it was entering into the
detailed development phase with Hammerson and Urban Splash, the
team behind the Bullring complex in Birmingham.
The plan will bring 600,000sq ft of additional retail space,
1,000 residential units and new leisure, office, hotel and
conference facilities to the St David's and Quadrant sites.
And added to ongoing work at SA1, the former David Evans site,
