BLACKSBURG -- Katy Kipps and Lacey McMahan each scored seven of their team-high 15 points in the decisive third quarter as Blacksburg topped Cave Spring 65-47 to advance to the semifinals of the River Ridge District girls' basketball tournament with a 65-47 win over Cave Spring on Monday.

The Bruins play top-seeded Hidden Valley at 6 tonight at Salem Civic Center.

Shawna Paige and Monica Boatwright each scored 17 points for Cave Spring.
