Kenya Airways suspended flights to Paris

NAIROBI, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- National carrier, Kenya Airways announced Tuesday it will temporarily suspend flights to Paris from Tuesday next week.

The airline CEO Titus Naikuni said there had been a sharp decline on bookings on the route as the French citizens reacted totheir government's decision to issue a blanket travel advisory against travel to Kenya due to post-election unrest.

However, Naikuni remained optimistic of resuming the normal flight operations.

"We will monitor the situation on a monthly basis and are hopeful that we will resume Paris flights for the summer high season once the French government's travel advisory has been removed," ...
