The Holburne Museum in Bath is to host a fortepiano recital by Richard Lester, on Saturday, March 1, at 7.30pm.

Richard has been described as 'one of the greatest early music keyboard players of this or any other time' and his recordings of the complete Scarlatti sonatas for Nimbus records have been acclaimed world-wide.

In his recital at the Holburne Museum, entitled Mostly Mozart, Richard will play favourite sonatas by Haydn and Mozart on the museum's famous Johann Schantz fortepiano (c1795).

During a long and distinguished career, Richard has performed extensively in this country and abroad.
