Article: National Bank Insurance's Drive Eco a Success: 2,000 Trees Already Planted in Quebec

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 22, 2008) - National Bank (TSX:NA) is pleased to announce that, barely six months after it was launched, the Drive Eco program from National Bank Insurance has already resulted in more than 2,000 trees being planted across Quebec.

These rehabilitated green spaces, where a variety of trees have been planted, will trap around 825 tonnes of CO2 and benefit communities across the province. Knowing that one tonne of CO2 is about the same volume as an Olympic-sized swimming pool, National Bank Insurance is proud to be making such a sizable contribution to protecting Quebec's environment.
