St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Adam Kennedy knows a thing or two about his new partner at shortstop.

Kennedy played down the road in Anaheim when Cesar Izturis won a Gold Glove with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004 and spent the next two years as a teammate of Cesar's brother, Maicer.

Now, Kennedy is hoping to put a disappointing first season in St. Louis behind him and team up with Izturis to revive a Cardinals' defense that was second-worst in the National League last season.
