Article: RAK Airways places its first aircraft order worth AED 1.65 Billion

RAK Airways UAE's fourth national carrier today announced its first aircraft order of four new generation Boeing 737 800 NG with purchase rights for two additional airplanes. The carrier is the first in the UAE to buy the Boeing 737 -800 NG - a short-to-medium- range airplane. The deal is worth AED 1.65 Billion.

Today's signing ceremony to announce the deal was held at the Al Hamra Fort Hotel, Ras Al Khaimah and was hosted by H.H. Sheikh Omar Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, RAK Airway's Chairman, Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Chairman, Rak Airways and Martin Bentrott, Boeing Commercial Airplanes Vice President of Middle East and Africa Sales.
