Article: Sosa looking to give fans a thrill in Home Run Derby

MILWAUKEE -- Sammy Sosa has a deep appreciation for how fans have been drawn to his personality and his power-hitting skills. For him, competing in the Home Run Derby and playing in the All-Star Game are a pleasure.

Sosa accepted an invitation to take part in the Home Run Derby during All-Star festivities Monday in Houston. He will compete against three other 500-homer hitters in the Cincinnati Reds' Ken Griffey Jr., the Baltimore Orioles' Rafael Palmeiro and the San Francisco Giants' Barry Bonds.
