Data International Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EKD), a provider of data
collection, material management and manufacturing visibility
solutions, today announced it is in final negotiations with a
leading US Defense contractor for the award of a contract to deliver
a complete data collection solution for its shop floor and
manufacturing operations. The solution is valued at CDN $4.8 million
and includes an additional CDN $2.1 million multi-year support
contract.
Epic Data will deploy its MXE middleware product and MPT line of
data collection devices over the next several months, and the
