Article: 'PIZZA PIZZAZZ' ; Food writer gets a belly full of pie at Columbus pizza and ice cream show

COLUMBUS -- It was a pizza-maker's paradise. As far as the eye could see, everything that could possibly have anything to do with good ol' pizza pie was on display: pizza crusts, sauces, cheeses, toppings, ovens, signs, delivery bags, and, of course, fresh-baked pies.

This was the fifth annual North America Pizza and Ice Cream Show held last week in the Greater Columbus Convention Center, and it drew nearly 5,000 pizza store owners and operators (and a smattering of ice cream purveyors) from throughout the continent.

Other industries may be struggling, but the demand for pizza appears to be as insatiable as it is universal.
