COULD unauthorised digging be the cause of the massive blackout
which left several entertainment outlets along the Jalan Sultan
Ismail stretch in darkness for almost three hours on Monday night?
This is one of the theories that Tenaga Nasional Berhad is
looking into, following the blackout which affected several major
entertainment outlets along Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Ampang and
Jalan P. Ramlee.
The blackout had occurred at 10.55pm due to the tripping of the
33kV line in Bukit Mahkamah's main intake substation. Power was
restored at 1.30am although some areas only received electrical
supply after 2am.
