Donation to Support Movement for Repeal of 'Don't Ask, Dont Tell'
WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The estate of the
late Richard Ric W. Weiland, announced on Monday the creation of a
$46-million endowment to be managed by the Seattle-based Pride
Foundation. The money, which aims to support charities and
organizations within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
community, includes an $800,000 bequest to Servicemembers Legal
Defense Network (SLDN).
