Article: Norwell man is sentenced to jail for OUI ; Preschool teacher from Scituate seriously hurt in head-on crash in 2006

HINGHAM - A Norwell man who severely injured a woman in a two- car accident in 2006 will spend six months in jail for third- offense drunken driving and causing serious injury.

On Tuesday in Hingham District Court, Judge Thomas Barrett sentenced Gerald P. Kehoe, 46, of 43 Riverside Drive, Norwell, to two years in jail and five years of probation on the drunken- driving charge and the serious-injury charge.

Six months of the jail sentences are to be served; the balances were suspended. The sentences will be served concurrently.

Kehoe admitted to sufficient facts for a guilty finding on both charges.
