For this Chefs Challenge, we ventured out in horribly snowy/icy
weather to see if two restaurants with decidedly sunny names could
brighten the day.
Hollywood Bar & Grill on the city's North Side and LA Grill & Ale
House on the East Side did more than brighten the day; they brought
smiles to our faces. And even though there was a mess of snow
outside, there was a light, springlike quality to the food.
The two restaurants' head cooks had been asked to work with a
list of ingredients - shrimp, linguine, peas, mushrooms and
pineapple.
At Hollywood Bar & Grill, head cook Joe Wagner brought a touch of
Emeril and a bit of Guy Fieri to a workplace filled with herbs,
spices, sauces, garlic and ...
