WASHINGTON, Feb. 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Justice
Department today announced that Milwaukee-area real estate firm RE/
MAX Realty 100, real estate agent Phyllis Hasenstab and homeowner
Edith Halvorsen agreed to pay $35,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging
that they violated the Fair Housing Act when they refused to
negotiate for the sale of a single-family home with an African-
American principal in the Milwaukee schools because of her race.
