Article: Voters extend Merrimack Valley deal ; Tuition will increase by $1,800 in fall 2009

High school students from Andover will continue attending Merrimack Valley High School for 15 years, starting in 2009. Voters at the Andover School District meeting last night approved a contract to extend the relationship with that school.

Andover pays tuition for its high schoolers to go to Merrimack Valley. That tuition is projected to be about $11,086 per pupil next year, up from $10,504 this year. The district sends about 85 student to Merrimack Valley each year, Board Chairman Doug Boisvert said.
