High school students from Andover will continue attending
Merrimack Valley High School for 15 years, starting in 2009. Voters
at the Andover School District meeting last night approved a
contract to extend the relationship with that school.
Andover pays tuition for its high schoolers to go to Merrimack
Valley. That tuition is projected to be about $11,086 per pupil next
year, up from $10,504 this year. The district sends about 85 student
to Merrimack Valley each year, Board Chairman Doug Boisvert said.
Under the new contract, tuition would increase by an estimated
$1,800 for the school year starting in fall 2009. After that, it
