HARTFORD -- They don't usually wear capes, aren't faster than speeding bullets and can't jump over tall buildings with a single bound. But the "superdelegates" just may decide who wins the Democratic presidential nomination.

Connecticut will have 12 superdelegates to the Democratic National Convention at the end of August. They are all top Democratic elected officials or longtime party insiders who could help choose between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton if the race were to remain tight.
