The region's council tax rise is in line with the 3.9 per cent
national average, according to an independent survey.
The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)
has analysed the council tax settlements of more than two-thirds of
English councils.
And it shows the increase in the portion of council tax claimed
by North Lincolnshire Council is less than the 4.3 per cent average
for the other similar councils surveyed.
The survey is the most comprehensive and accurate examination of
council finances for the coming year.
The council set its tax levels for the next financial year on
February 20.
