Still more material is coming in about the vessel Volo and also
about the movement of troops via Hull in connection with the Second
World War.
Maurice Webster is the former archivist to Ellerman's Wilson Line
Ltd and he now lives in Long Gore, Godalming, Surrey.
Until May 1976 he was employed in the office of the company here
in Hull before being moved to another branch of the group in the
south.
Before his move he was involved in arranging for all the material
he had collected to be deposited at either the University of Hull or
the Town Docks Museum.
