Urgent calls have been made for a public inquiry into the
controversial Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route to be set.
Former transport minister Tavish Scott has urged the Scottish
Government to set a date the inquiry.
Mr Scott surprised supporters and opponents of the scheme in 2005
when he unveiled the hybrid Milltimber Brae route as the preferred
option.
He has now expressed surprise that the issue has not moved
forward.
