BRADENTON, Fla. -- Craig Monroe and Jason Kubel cracked back-to-
back homers today, boosting the Minnesota Twins to an 8-4 victory
against the Pirates.
Monroe's shot flew against the wind to left field. Kubel's rode
the stiff breeze 400-plus feet to center.
In his second outing of the spring, Pirates right-hander Matt
Morris went three innings and gave up four runs on six hits,
including both homers. Morris walked two and struck out one.
