Hundreds of people from outside the area have joined the North
Lincolnshire waiting list for an NHS dentist.
The 850 people are on top of 5,100 locals stuck without a dentist
but the Primary Care Trust (PCT) says North Lincolnshire residents
will always have priority.
Most of the 850 are based in neighbouring areas, such as North
East Lincolnshire, Doncaster and north of the Humber.
They can ask for a place on the North Lincolnshire waiting list
if they believe they have a problem getting dental services within
their own area.
North Lincolnshire PCT spokesman Phil West said: "Anyone can
request to go on the waiting list but what we do is give priority to
North Lincolnshire residents.
