Crash car stops inches from couple's home

A Couple today spoke about the terrifying moment they found a
crashed car in their garden.
The blue Volkswagen Golf smashed through a gate, hedge and fence,
stopping just inches from their living room window.
Sheila and Andrew Kindness, from Portlethen, feared they could
have lost their home of seven decades.
The great-granny said: "I moved into this house when I was nine,
moved out when I got married then came back later so this has always
been home.
"And it's a home we could have lost.
"It was such a shock."
Sheila, 79, and husband Andrew, 83, were left shaken after the
smash.
She said she was awoken by a panicked phone-call from her next-
door neighbour Cathy Fowlie.
