Daily Show," is TV talkdom's golden child. Glowing press, five Emmys,
gushing guests -- the slathering goes on and on. Women love him,
children love him, old people love him. In short, Hoo-ah! The boy's
on fire! And, as he would tell you, it will never end. Ever.
A primary source of political news for legions of "stoned
slackers," as Fox commentator Bill O'Reilly recently referred to
Stewart's viewership, the left-leaning host wields considerable power
to influence undecided voters in this political season. Mostly,
though, he just wants to be funny.
