Within the next three years, up to 242 airmen and their families at Schriever Air Force Base will be able to live on base.

Construction includes new homes for service members of all ranks, a community center with indoor pool and other amenities.

Homes will range from 1,630 square feet to 4,000 square feet, each with a minimum of three bedrooms. The new community is designed to encourage resident interaction, with "walkable" neighborhoods, community centers, open spaces and hiking and biking trails.
