Such a splendid season. A golden weather summer with more sun, more rain, and more hot days than we've seen for years has pleased everyone. Correction, nearly everyone. Dairy farmers facing dried- up paddocks and dried-off cows are not happy. Will milk production hold up? Will the giant companies turning milk into gold continue to thrive? Will there be milk and butter for all? (And will we be able to afford it should be the next question -- but that is another story).
