NEW YORK - It was the kind of game West Virginia should have
lost. In fact, it was the type the Mountaineers have lost, time and
time again.
Not a close one. Fact of the matter is this one wasn't really
that close. West Virginia had a double-digit lead for most of the
second half on the way to its 78-72 win over No. 15 Connecticut in
the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament.
