ABINGTON
Override proposal to come before town meeting
At town meeting this spring, residents will be asked to support a
$650,000 override as well as a transfer of $350,000 from the town's
stabilization fund, so all of the town's departments can be allotted
a level services budget for the 2009 fiscal year.
BRAINTREE
Council OK's Braintree planning appointments
The town council approved the mayor's planning board appointments
on Tuesday after a three-hour interview session Monday night. Robert
Harnais, James Eng, Darryl Mikami, Linda Cusick Woodman and Joseph
Reynolds were unanimously supported by the council, which described
the group as diverse in talent and experience.
