Q. I want to coat my concrete garage floor with something that
will last through hot tires, salt, oil, grease, foot traffic, etc. Do
you recommend any particular products?
A. Consider Better Life Technology's Plastic Flooring for Garages,
www.bltllc.com, as an alternative. This plastic flooring unrolls on
the floor of the garage. When it gets dirty, you just pull it out to
the driveway and wash it off with a hose. When dry, pull it back
again. A good place to buy it is the Sam's Club Web site,
www.samsclub.com. Flooring for a 10-by-22-foot garage sells for $170.
If you prefer to go the epoxy route, Home Depot sells Rustoleum
