Rangers lurched a step closer to the Blue Square Premier
relegation abyss after crashing to their 12th home league defeat.
Just as in the last Marston Road match - Steve Bull's first
officially in charge - the visitors, in this case Oxford, were
rarely put to the test.
The difference was in the size of the crowd. Just about half the
number that turned out for the Farsley fanfare, saw Oxford win 1-0.
The scoreline flattered Rangers, as manager Bull candidly
admitted.
Goalkeeper Danny Alcock kept the scoreline respectable to earn a
deserved man-of-the-match award.
