Residents in a Forest village are concerned after a wild boar was
spotted in the area.
A boar "four times bigger than a Labrador" has been spotted in
Whitecroft, near Lydney, on a football field next to a play area,
three times.
Geoff Wells, 61, who lives next to the field, said: "Boar pose a
danger to everyone," he said. "We have a lot of elderly people in
the area who walk their dogs around the field and there's a school
just down the road.
"I'm frightened for my family.
"They're not safe, that one was four times bigger than a
Labrador. They either need to be gathered and penned in like they
used to be or they should be culled."
