TELESCOPES will again be trained on peregrine falcons, which have
become crowd pleasers at Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dales National
Park, but this year they are also to be the subject of an internet
blog.
In 2007 nearly 30,000 people visited the peregrine watch area,
which opens again on March 21 and continues until July 27. The RSPB
and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority will also staff the
site from August 23 to 31.
In addition to high-powered telescopes, this year there will be
more information available thanks to a new website created by the
authority and the RSPB at www.yorkshiredales.org.uk/peregrines
