State Rep. Fields arrested for DUI

MILWAUKEE - State Rep. Jason Fields was arrested for drunken driving early Wednesday after authorities saw him swerving on the highway, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department said.

Fields, a Democrat from Milwaukee, failed a field sobriety test, Sheriff David Clarke said at a news conference. His blood-alcohol level was 0.13 percent, above the state's limit of 0.08 percent, Clarke said.

Fields was arrested around 1 a.m. on Interstate 43 heading southbound in Milwaukee, he said.
