Churchgoers gathered in the heart of Grimsby for a traditional
Good Friday service.
They braved the elements to turn out to the open-air service in
St James' Square at 11.30am.
The service was led by the Bishop of Grimsby, the Rt Rev David
Rossdale, Canon Michael Hunter and Father David Sudron and included
hymns including Were You There When They Crucified My Lord, led by
The Salvation Army band.
Bishop Rossdale said: "Good Friday stands at the heart of the
