BEIJING, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The following is a biographical
sketch of Zhang Rongming, who was elected vice-chairwoman of the
11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political
Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Thursday:
Zhang Rongming
Female, born in June 1944, of Han ethnic group, native of Ningbo
City in Zhejiang Province.
Vice-chairwoman of the 11th CPPCC National Committee, first vice-
chairwoman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic National
Construction Association (CDNCA), and vice-president of the All-
China Federation of Trade Unions.
