3rd LD Writethru: Cypriot leaders agree to accelerate future
reunification talks
NICOSIA, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of Greek and Turkish
Cypriot communities agreed on Friday to set up working groups and
technical committees to prepare for fully-fledged reunification
talks, which are expected to restart in three months.
The agreement was reached at a meeting between Cyprus' President,
Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias and Turkish Cypriot leader
Mehmet Ali Talat in the United Nations Protected Area in Nicosia.
Michael Moller, the UN secretary-general's special representative
in divided Cyprus, told reporters after the meeting that the two
